1) Sabarmati Ashram 




When Ahmedabad is mentioned, the first names that come to mind are Sabarmati Ashram and Mahatma Gandhi. It is situated on the banks of the Sabarmati River and served as Bapu's former residence as well as the focal point of the Indian liberation war. Visitors may learn about Mahatma Gandhi's challenges and life at this location.

Many of his personal belongings, such as his spectacles, slippers, and novels, are on display. There is an art gallery here as well as a library with about 35,000 volumes in Gujarati, Hindi, and English. If one is interested in learning more about Gandhi's life, family, and revolutionary principles, this collection of books, artwork, and artefacts is a gold mine

2) vastrapur lake 






This man-made Vastrapur Lake, located in the neighbourhood of Ahmedabad with the same name, is one of the greatest spots to spend your nights in the city. Spending leisurely hours on its shores while taking in the surrounding vegetation is a peaceful experience. 3) Kankaria Lake, Ahmedabad



Kankaria Lake, the largest body of water in the city, has long drawn visitors and residents of Ahmedabad to the area. It was constructed in the fifteenth century by Sultans Muhammad Shah and Ahmed Shah II, and as it served as the primary location for royal baths during that time, it even had a water filtration system. The lakeshore has now been transformed into an entertainment area with a zoo, kids' city, toy railways, a water park with a tonne of attractions, and food stands. This location is perfect for a daytime picnic, with a stroll down the lakeside to cap it off. Enjoy your meals at Nagina Wadi, a garden-themed food court with mouthwateringly delicious traditional Gujarati cuisine.

 4) Kankaria Zoo, Ahmendabad


Ahmedabad's Kamala Nehru Zoological Garden, popularly known as Kankaria Zoo, is the ideal location for a picnic. Kids adore the location because of its diverse flora and animals. The zoo was founded in 1951 and is situated on the shores of Kankaria Lake. Wildlife enthusiasts will find several rare and endangered species of birds, animals, and reptiles there, making it a paradise for them. The zoo unveiled a nocturnal enclosure in 2017, housing creatures that are most active at night, including hyenas, jackals, and leopards. The nocturnal zoo is the first of its type in Gujarat and makes the animals active by using light control to create a nighttime environment throughout the day.

5) ISKCON Temple, Ahmedabad


Gujarat Sompura and Rajasthani Khamira seamlessly blend to create the stunning exterior of the ISKCON temple. The temple, well-maintained gardens, and stunning fountains are all located on the expansive 4-acre complex. Although the ISKCON temple is primarily devoted to Lord Krishna and Radha, other Hindu deities have statues there as well.
